Marquita Jo Rhodes

Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the organization, Ms. Rhodes has directed the 1,200+ member Albany County Bar Association (ACBA) since late 2015. Through the cultivation of over 15+ member committees, she is responsible for the development of strategic initiatives to ensure brand evolution and membership growth. Prior to coming to the ACBA, she held the position of Assistant Director of the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID), assisting in executive strategy and non-profit management, in addition to serving as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the organization.

Ms. Rhodes holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Regent University and a B.A. from Sweet Briar College. She serves on the New York State Bar Association's Committee for Bar Leaders. An avid hiker, she can usually be found outdoors in the forest with her English Springer Spaniel or in her Capital Roots community garden. 

 


Ambrosia Montague

Ambrosia Montage is the Member Services Associate for the Albany County Bar Association (ACBA), responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties for the organization, including membership services, communications and event development. Prior to coming to the organization, Ambrosia worked in the mental health field as a case coordinator with a focus on rehabilitation and community integration.

 

A student at the University at Albany, Mrs. Montague is pursuing her B.A. in political science with a psychology minor. She anticipates matriculating to law school in 2021. An avid reader and life-long dancer, Ambrosia spends most of her free time with her nose in a book and her feet in the air.




Chelsea O'Neal

Since early January 2020, Ms. O’Neal has managed the intake of potential clients and attorney panelists for the Lawyer Referral Service at the Albany County Bar Association.

 

She is currently pursuing her certification in Paralegal Studies as well as continuing her Historical and Political studies, with the plan to attend law school in the future. Her passion is history. You can usually find her reading books on history, watching documentaries on history or playing with her two cats. When she has the time, she enjoys helping out her community by volunteering.
